DBA Design Effectiveness Award

We are thrilled to announce the win of a silver DBA Design Effectiveness award last night at the awards ceremony in London.

In the category of Packaging — Branded Non Foods, Seymourpowell took home the silver award for work on PediTech Actifreeze, a new generation wart and verruca remover product by Passion for Life Healthcare. On receving the award, Seymourpowell design director Jonathan Shaw commented, "We are all really delighted to receive this accolade — being able to clearly demonstrate the commercial effectiveness of our work is key to the business. Measuring packaging design success is difficult in a fragmented media world, so when we can work closely with a client to achieve this it really highlights the role of packaging design. The new Actifreeze canister enables accurate dosage effectively freezing the wart & verruca to the core, at the same time isolating it from surrounding tissue. Seymourpowell developed the impactful brand mark highlighting these targeting benefits of the product. Focus was also given to the unique pre-assembled format by making the product visible and highlighting its benefits through the bold 'new generation' message. The combination of metallic and vibrant colours helps give the pack a distinct identity that feels premium yet accessible.
